Metric Dimensions of Threaded Crosses Rating 6000 as per ASME B16.11

Threaded Fittings are used in non critical services like air, water etc. They allow easy dismantling and because they do not need welding, they can be installed in running plants. They are used in small bore piping networks up to size 2″, though fittings up to 4″ size are available as per ASME B16.11 : Forged Fittings, Socket Welding and Threaded. These fittings are available in three pressure ratings viz. 2000#, 3000# and 6000#. This page provides metric dimensions for 6000# rating threaded crosses.

Available Dimensions are: A | Center to End, B | Length of Thread (Min), G | Minimum Wall Thickness, H | Outside Diameter of Band, L2 | Length of Thread (Min).

General Notes

Dimensions are in millimeters.

Notes

  1. Dimension B is minimum length of perfect thread. The length of useful thread (B plus threads with fully formed roots and flat crests) shall not be less than L2 (effective length of external thread) required by American National Standard for Pipe Threads (ANSI/ASME B1.20.1). See Section 6.3.
