Threaded half couplings are used as small bore threaded branch connection to large bore pipes in non critical services like air, water etc. They are used predominantly for small bore branches up to size 1.5″, though fittings up to 4″ size are available as per ASME B16.11 : Forged Fittings, Socket Welding and Threaded. These fittings are available in two pressure ratings viz. 3000# and 6000#. This page provides metric dimensions for 6000# rating threaded half coupling.
Available Dimensions are: B | Length of Thread (Min), D | Outside Diameter, W/2 | End to End Dimension, L2 | Length of Thread (Min).

General Notes
Dimensions are in millimeters.
Notes
- Dimension B is minimum length of perfect thread. The length of useful thread (B plus threads with fully formed roots and flat crests) shall not be less than L2 (effective length of external thread) required by American National Standard for Pipe Threads (ANSI/ASME B1.20.1). See Section 6.3.
- Class 2000 and DN6 Class 6000 couplings, half couplings, and caps are not included in ASME B16.11.
