Threaded Hex Head Bushings Feature a larger male thread on the outside and a smaller female thread on the inside. They allow a smaller pipe to fit into a larger opening, having a hexagonal head for tightening with a wrench. It is a specialized fitting used to connect pipes or valves of two different thread sizes or diameters.
